Save our Super Sunday Sessions - Big Give's #ArtForImpact Campaign 2026
Save the date!
From the 17th – 23rd March, we are taking part in Big Give’s Arts for Impact campaign, a UK-wide campaign to raise funds for creative organisations with a strong social impact within their communities.
Super Sunday Sessions
The Duncairn has been hosting Super Sunday Sessions since 2018, a free family friendly event open to the whole community to enjoy live music in a relaxed child friendly setting. Super Sunday Sessions started as a monthly event, born out of the belief that everyone, young, old, from every background, should have access to the arts.
Due to significant funding cuts, these very special events have been reduced to three or four a year – and by participating in Arts for Impact Big Give Campaign, The Duncairn hopes to programme six Super Sunday Sessions in 2026.
Double the donation, double the impact
Through this campaign, every donation made by the public will be doubled! Double the donations means double the impact. Through this campaign, we can continue to support artists, families and the wider community through one of our most loved events.
Super Sunday Session was borne out of the desire to open The Duncairn to the local community – to give space for people to come together, enjoy music and arts in a relaxed and non-intimidating atmosphere, and spend quality time with friends and family. The event is completely free to guarantee access and inclusion to everyone who wishes to join. This funding will help us spread the word even further in our communities, to increase and enrich attendance.

Thank you for your ongoing support!
Super Sunday Sessions are one of the most loved family events at the Duncairn. A free family-oriented day of music, arts and crafts, games and more! Families, young children, babies and toddlers get the chance to hear top-class musicians in a relaxed atmosphere – the centre really is handed over to the community! Funds from the BigGive will allow us to programme 6 Super Sunday Sessions throughout 2026, to continue to remove barriers to the arts and deepen our reach into the community.
