In 2011, The Bonny Men established themselves as the hottest ticket in the Irish trad / folk music scene after debuting their celebrated self-titled album. There are seven in the band, each one a master of their own instrument. Indeed, band members’ accolades include multiple All-Ireland Champions, World Bodhrán Champion, and the prestigious TG4 “Young Musician of the Year”. Singing a mixture of original and contemporary folk songs, theirs is a sound soaked in the essence of traditional music.
