Terms & Conditions

Please read through the following terms before filling out the application form and submitting your work. All applications must be done online. If you need help with this process, please contact liadain@174trust.org

You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details.

Terms and conditions

  • This work remains the property of the supplier (designer-maker/artist) and as such will be taken care of by the Duncairn Centre for Culture and Arts.

  • The Duncairn Centre for Culture and Arts have the right to sell the purchased work

  • The artist/maker is responsible for pricing.

  • Suppliers are expected to own the copyright on all designs. No plagiarism may be involved in any products on sale through the Duncairn.

  • The Duncairn will not accept artwork produced using AI.

  • The Duncairn encourages use of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials and packaging – compostable or recyclable packaging where possible.

  • Your items/products are supplied on a sale or return basis. Work that is not selling within 3 months will be returned to the supplier.

  • Each supplier must give a delivery note of stock outlining quantity and items to accompany all work.

  • Each supplier, once accepted, is allocated a code, which should be marked clearly at the top right-hand side of each delivery note.

  • Suppliers are usually living in the Belfast area, although all applications will be considered and/or guest makers will also be considered.

  • The Duncairn takes a commission of 10% of the retail price on work sold.

  • Suppliers are notified quarterly by e-mail of sales made through the shop.

  • Suppliers will be paid quarterly by the Duncairn/174 Trust, on receipt of invoices requested.

  • The Duncairn is insured against fire, window replacement and for public liability.

  • Suppliers are advised to check with trading standards officers regarding legal requirements for the safety and labelling of toys.

  • The Duncairn will keep records of all deliveries and copies of delivery notes in the Arts office.

  • The Duncairn will keep records of all sales.

  • Any queries regarding statements and payments should be made within one month by e-mail to liadain@174trust.org

  • We provide a stock stake of your work up to four times a year on your behalf. Please email us to request a stock check giving one week’s notice.
