Are you interested in filmmaking?

Do you have something to say and want your voice to be heard?

Then this is for you!

The Digital Arts Studios in partnership with the Duncairn Arts Centre is running a documentary workshop where you and a small team will produce your own documentary film. You will work with experienced filmmakers to research and produce your own documentary. Working in your local area, the documentary is
a chance for you to have your say and express yourself.

The workshop will take place in Duncairn Arts Centre and at Digital Arts Studios.

Research your topic and understand the subject

Plan your shoot: create a shot-by-shot outline

Get to grips with the gear: learn how to use DSLR Cameras for filmmaking

Shoot! Film your scenes & record your audio.

Edit your film

Say something new and make it personal!

You will research, plan and film your own documentary, which will then be screened at a special event in Duncairn Arts Centre and again at the Belfast Film Festival in Spring 2017, as part of the Digital Arts Studios programme.

It is free to participate, but there are only 6 places so please contact us and tell us briefly why you would like to be involved by no later than 01.10.16
