Furnace Mountain make the very best kind of authentic, old-time American roots music. At times lively and raucous, with spirited fiddle melodies weaving in and around the powerful rhythms of the bass and bouzouki. At other times poignant and poetic, with sublime vocal harmonies beautifully interpreting some of the oldest songs ever written.
Hailing from Virginia, Furnace Mountain consists of Dave Van Deventer (Fiddle & Vocals), Morgan Morrison (Bouzouki & Vocals),
Aimee Curl (Bass & Vocals) and Danny Knicely (Mandolin).
Listen to them once and you’re hooked. The four-piece even have the Coen Brothers amongst their biggest admirers.
We’re delighted to welcome this magical band back, as they play the beautiful Duncairn Arts Centre this October.
