Now in its 14th year the School is a totally voluntary body. GSoTM have been able to access funding from the Arts Council NI which has allowed it to provide high quality tuition and keep costs to its pupils at as an affordable level as possible. The School does however have to also fundraise and has been able to depend on support from its many friends in the local traditional musician community to help in fundraising. The Rare Aul Stuff, have offered to support the school by hosting this fundraising concert). The event will be a tribute to the late Luke Kelly of the Dubliners and will feature Joe McKeague singing many familiar songs from Luke. Supported by young musicians from GSoTM and taking place in the great setting of and best place for a trad gig in Belfast in the Duncairn the event should be one not to be missed
