The exhibition explores the issue of what makes us human; the biological makeup of cellular structures or the emotion, the experience, the existence of soul. The exhibiting Artists, Trisha Campbell, Emma Hawthorne, Sandra Robinson and Sally Young engage with people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities through their community Art roles and acknowledge the effect in which the human condition has on their practice. The process of birth, ageing, physical/anatomical health and mental well-being are all key issues explored.
These ideas will be explored individually and collaboratively through 2D drawing, painting and 3D ceramic work. This diversity in material choice and process provides a variety of interest which reflects the different personalities and life events of its creators.
