Navá & Special Guests

Doors 8pm - Show 8.15pm

Let’s be honest, it doesn’t always work, the mixing and mashing of musics from different cultures, we know that. But if you trust us, if you believe that we do know when something works, come to this concert. Nava’s delicate, multi-layered sound is created by two Irish folk / bluegrass musicians, and two Iranian born brothers, describing themselves as: “A group of young musicians exploring the relationship between the ancient musical cultures of Ireland and Persia.” We agree with Carl Corcoran of RTE’s The Blue of the Night: “One would think the two musical cultures of Persia and Ireland had been historically connected. They haven’t… until now. A pioneering musical collaboration.”
