Doors 7.30pm - Show 7.45pm
Singer-songwriter Joshua Burnside is one of the first artists to blend Irish and Scottish folk sounds whilst weaving elements of world music, experimental rock, pop, Americana and electronica to create a sound that is wholly unique and modern yet firmly rooted in tradition. His debut album Ephrata won 2017’s Northern Ireland Music Prize, while his latest EP, All Round The Light Said, is described as updating Irish folk music for the 21st century.
As part of what will be a terrific evening we also welcome Dublin-based trio Once There Was A King, performing music that intersects traditional, free improvisation, and folk. Imagine that on The Duncairn’s stage. Perfect.
