We’re delighted to open our doors to this man again. “Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh blows away all the staid olds tereotypes of the traditional musician,” according to The Irish News. Playing his 10-string hardanger d’amore, he performs around the globe, either solo, in one of several duos, as a member of The Gloaming, or in the band This Is How We Fly. He’s collaborated with the likes of Laurie Anderson and Icelandic band Amiina, and has fifteen recordings under his belt. Nick Kelly of Irish Independent reckons he is: “The missing link between Martin Hayes and Purple Haze.” And he’s returning to The Duncairn.
Landless are Lily Power, Meabh Meir, Ruth Clinton and Sinead Lynch. Formed in 2013 and based in Dublin and Belfast, they sing unaccompanied traditional songs in four-part harmony.
